Building Frontline Capability — Then and Now

Project Tetyana: Campaign 22 was launched on 8 June 2024, at the moment the 67th Brigade formed its Unmanned Systems Battalion.

At the time, the battalion had no dedicated equipment. The battalion was new, the front was active, and the need was immediate. Campaign 22 was created to help equip this capability from the ground up, enabling the battalion to operate effectively from its earliest days.

The name “Campaign 22” reflected the operational reality at launch:
the battalion was responsible for 22 active frontline positions.

Since then, the front has shifted — and so have the needs of Ukraine’s defenders.

What This Campaign Supports

Since the launch of Campaign 22, the 67th Brigade has operated in the Serebryanskyy forest, the Sumy direction during Ukraine’s Kursk offensive, and is currently deployed in the Pokrovsk direction. Like all frontline units, their requirements continue to evolve as conditions change.

Funds raised through Campaign 22 are used to support drone units and urgent frontline needs, including — but not limited to — the provision of:

  • Vehicles and transport support

  • Portable power solutions (generators and power stations)

  • Communications and connectivity (Starlink, tablets, laptops, radios)

  • UAVs, ground stations, and related systems

  • Technical components and consumables required to keep equipment operational

Operational priorities change rapidly
Specific items may be substituted or reprioritised to ensure funds are used where they have the greatest immediate impact.

This flexibility is essential to effective frontline support.

How We Allocate Donations

While Campaign 22 originated in support of the 67th Brigade’s Unmanned Systems Battalion, Project Konstantin now supports multiple units across different brigades.

To operate responsibly and effectively, we pool funds across our active campaigns rather than restricting purchases to a single unit when needs elsewhere are more urgent.

This means:

  • Donations made to Campaign 22 may support the 67th Brigade and other verified Ukrainian units

  • All purchases are based on direct, current requests from trusted frontline contacts

  • Resources are allocated where they are needed most at the time of purchase

This approach reflects the realities of a fast-moving war and ensures that donor funds are never left idle while defenders are waiting for critical equipment.

Why Drones Matter

In today’s war, drones are not optional — they are basic frontline infrastructure.

They provide early warning, reconnaissance, targeting support, and deterrence. Most importantly, they create distance between Ukrainian defenders and invading forces.

Distance saves lives.

That is why drones — and the power, connectivity, and logistics that keep them operational — remain one of the most effective ways to reduce casualties on the front.
