First Aid Kits for the 67th Brigade

It has been almost a year since our co-founder and director Peter Fouché was killed, and the last fundraiser that was started by him is still ongoing: Campaign 22: Project Tetyana aims to provide the 67th Brigade with the supplies they need.

Recently, for the first time ever, we compiled our own individual first aid kits (IFAKs) — we used to buy really good premade ones from Tacmedicine. So why did we make our own? Well, for starters, we already had the bags, secondly, by compiling the IFAKs ourselves, we were able to make sure the defenders get exactly what they need, with no money spent on items they don’t need.

We also provided them with Yumerox — a Methoxyflurane product made in Ukraine. Methoxyflurane is preferrable to othher pain medications on the front, since it does not interact with medication a doctor would provide once the stabilisation point has been reached.
